There are certain things in this life that many, in fact most, people simply write off as coincidence or happenstance. But I believe in a God of mystery, wonder and humor. And so when those things happen in my day to day routine that the majority of us would consider peculiar or odd, I try to pay close enough attention and try to find the more appropriate source. I just stumbled upon an image on the web tonight with text that read:
Just because something is not happening for you, doesn't mean its never going to happen. It just means you're not ready for it.
I can think of countless examples in my life for which this has applied, both past and present. And truthfully this very subject has been the object of one of my most heartfelt struggles as of late. And so, stumbling upon this image tonight was a beautiful reminder from the Big Man upstairs to be patient and trust in Him. For too long I've pretended to be patient, but everyday wind up exhausted and bitter that nothing "seems" to be changing. But thats simply because the things I want to change, I have no control over. And how scary it'd be if I did have control! Praise God for His strength and desire to take on our burdens and faithfully guide us to real life. I will lift my eyes to Him regarding this matter and continue to press on towards complete submission of my thoughts, actions, desires and will. In His time.

Don't strive to be a great person, strive to do great things. Your greatness will die with you, but the great things you do will live on for years after you're gone. - Ramsey Clark

Welcome
This is a place I hope to find myself using more and more for an outlet of ideas, thoughts and expression. Not because I do not already have one, or several for that matter, but because times are changing and as I find myself spending more and more time on the computer, I'm discovering sometimes I surf with no direct intention, and so here I will focus my wandering mind and share my thoughts, my concerns and my curiosity.
